Java Engineer

We need a talented developer to build our next generation call tracking system in the cloud with AWS. Must have strong Java coding, design, and debugging skills. This is a high impact role working with a small, high caliber engineering team in the Bay Area to build their pay per call platform.

Responsibilities:

- Actively contribute to software development.

- Solve difficult problems with elegant and practical code.

- Preparation of software design specifications and other forms of architectural documentation.

- Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches.

- Contribute to the design and architecture of the project.

- Define technical scope of products and their features.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years relevant work experience.

- Prior professional experience in software development.

- Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design and analysis.

- Expert skill in Java, and proficiency with other programming languages.

- Experience with distributed system development.

- Experience in developing and deploying applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) including ELB, EBS, EC2.

- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.

- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

- Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project.

Senior Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

This position is very fast moving and routinely requires skills that range the entire spectrum of engineering and IT.

• Routinely manage multiple high priority projects concurrently
• Design, implement and maintain scalable, cost effective cloud infrastructure in AWS and AppLogic
  • Troubleshoot product performance issues
  • Participate in 24×7 on call rotations

Operations Tech Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven operations tech.  Someone preferably with online marketing experience and savvy tech know how. Understand Google Analytics, how to implement and read the resulting data.  Know when bounce rates are high and when time on page is an issue.  Know XML to the point you can write the parser for a feed on a landing page we create, implement the XML and then can QA and find out why the feed isn’t performing correctly.

• Understand performance marketing and especially Internet marketing.
• Be proficient in conversion optimization, tracking and analytics.
• Troubleshoot, analyze and correct site performance issues and escalate accordingly.
• Understand scalability, launch and monetization of search / search syndication.
• Write and maintain syndication documentation.
• Interact with partner and publisher APIs.
• QA and ensure proper deployment of all initiatives.
